About Us

The Oil Of Joy Ministry is an Evangelism Global Mission, purposed to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world.  Pastor Beverly Flowers, M.Div., is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and founder of this Evangelical ministry in partnership with the Joycliff United Methodist Church.  Prior to her accepting her calling into full time Ordained ministry, Rev. Flowers served in the United States Air Force as a  certified Master Addictions Counselor and a Human and Race Relations Instructor.

 Rev. Flowers is a retired pastor now serving as an Associate Evangelist in the South Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  She assist in the pulpit ministry delivering powerful sermons at Joycliff UMC located at 3409 Joycliff Rd., Macon, Georgia, during the 11:00 AM service each fourth Sunday.  She is committed to spreading the gospel of Christ into local communities and to all the world.  It is her mission to share  the love and compassion of Jesus Christ for those who are hurting, and to help people  to come to know God's gift of salvation through His amazing grace and the power of Jesus's Joy for their lives.

     She has been invited to  preach in such places as Church of the Disciples UMC, Desoto, Texas, Royal Community Holiness Church,  St. Petersburg, Florida, Memorial Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo.  Union Memorial UMC, St. Louis, Mo., Kelley Chapel UMC  Decatur, GA., First African Missionary Baptist, St. Simmons Island, GA. and other churches.  

  Beverly currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, GA.  She has also served as an Assistant  Spiritual Director for an Emmaus Walk Retreat.  Pastor Flowers has provided workshop trainings for the Pathways to Healthy Churches in the South Georgia Conference. She has served as the Southeastern Jurisdictional Coordinator for the National Black Clergywomen of the United Methodist Church.
